Abstract Introduction: Children with cerebral palsy (CP) have been found to present visual perceptual impairments (VPI). Research indicates differences in VPI various subtypes of CP. However, deficits children CP has not investigated terms occupational therapy assessment and treatment a South African context. The purpose this study was determine the specific learners ages 4-18 years attending school for special needs Johannesburg, Africa. Method: Test Visual Perceptual Skills 3 rd ed. (TVPS-3) used assess 80 their subtest scores composite were compared according subtype as well other demographic variables including age, gender GMFCS level.
